Who can join AGSA?

AGSA is open to all CU Boulder graduate students who identify with or have an interest in the African continent and its diaspora. Allies are welcome to participate in events and initiatives.

How do I become a member?

Complete the membership form (online or at one of our meetings) and join our email list. We will follow up with next steps and upcoming events.

Is there a membership fee?

At this time, AGSA does not require mandatory dues. Some special events may have optional fees, which we announce in advance.

Do I have to be African to attend events?

No. Our programs are open to the wider CU Boulder community. We welcome anyone who wants to learn about and celebrate African cultures and support African graduate students.

How can I get more involved or volunteer?

You can volunteer at events, join a planning committee, or run for an executive position when opportunities open. Reach out to us through the Contact page to share your interests.
